Clear floor epoxy is a multi-role product — not just a topcoat. Here's how to use it at each stage:
- ①As a topcoat — Apply over cured decorative color flakes to seal and protect the chip layer. This is the most common use case for garage floor systems.
- ②As a midcoat — Apply between the base epoxy and topcoat to build film thickness and add an extra protective layer.
