It is a good product for tumblers
This epoxy resin is fast drying, which is great, but also means you need to know what you're doing so it doesn't bubble, so do your research and be prepared. That being said, it does what it says. I cure overnight, but the drying time before that was fast. It is good quality and the size of the bottles is reasonable, making it a good value and comparable to other epoxy resins. It is easy enough to use if you follow the directions and watch some tutorials ahead of time. It leaves a nice, glossy durable top coat. Can also work for molds or other smaller projects.
This is a very high quality fast curing epoxy resin, not to be used by people that are inexperienced, because it would probably cure too fast. You only have a 20-30 minute working window. It dries fairly fast, but needs 4-8 hours before it's cured. The consistency is thick, which is what I needed. I'm using this self leveling epoxy to top coat, and fill in large bubbles that unexpectedly appeared in some of my resin projects. It works great, and is very clear. I'm very happy with this, even though I haven't used it for tumblers yet, because that's something I plan on trying in the future. But I will keep this on hand for fixing mistakes. And I would recommend it to others like myself.
While I don't make tumblers, I make and sell quite a few resin products and have tried many different epoxy resins over the years and decided to give this Bond Craftor tumbler epoxy a shot when I saw it. It is thicker that a lot of the epoxy resin that I use, but that is the point since it is made for coating. Even though it is made for coating, it can definitely be used in other ways. It works as well as thinner resin in silicone molds and works excellent as a top coat on pendants. I, also, typically use epoxy resin that has a longer curing time than this, but this one is a nice addition if I need something to cure or dry quicker. I can't specifically say how long it takes to cure to touch because I, typically, pour my resin at night and let it cure over night, but the curing time is less than a full night for sure. It looks just as clear as my other thinner resin and hopefully it will hold off on yellowing, only time will tell on that, but it looks promising. Overall, this is a very nice resin to add to any resin worker's materials.
Love it fast curing no issues at all will but it again
